Six things to check when buying a travel cot
2022-05-16 20:001、Watch out for flexible sides: pop-up, tent-style travel cots may be super easy to put up and take down again, and look pretty cool, but their sides aren’t rigid, which means they may not take your weight if you fall against them (if you accidentally stumble in the night, for example). If you’re using this type of travel cot, be extra vigilant.
2、Test the cot folding mechanism :Folding mechanisms can be complicated -- though it usually only takes practice. Try unrolling, folding and lifting a few cribs in the store before buying. If this is not possible, or if you purchased it online, please find out if you can return the crib after you practice at home if you are not satisfied with the folding mechanism.
3、Easy-cleaning travel cots: If possible, look for detachable frame covers and detachable mattress covers to make cleaning and cleaning easier.
4、Extra features: Some models have a range of extras, such as diaper pads that fit on top of cribs, toy storage bags, lullabies, light shows and even baby rocking chair accessories. Think about whether you would use these -- if not, you might pay unnecessary extra fees, and they add weight and volume to the overall package.
5、Can a travel cot double as a playpen? If you want a crib to double as a baby pen, four mesh sides instead of two will give you and your baby a better view.
